Credits and participation
The Assessment checks eligibility inputs, program history, risk information, current BOP policy, and the records used in the credit calculation.
These short overviews explain the subjects included in a Case Assessment. They are general background, not conclusions about one defendant.
General background
Whether any subject matters depends on the defendant's record, the controlling sources, BOP policy, and the relevant dates. The Snapshot does not perform this research.
The Assessment checks eligibility inputs, program history, risk information, current BOP policy, and the records used in the credit calculation.
The report reviews all five factors against the record, including programming, release planning, detainers, and other documented requirements.
Compassionate release, statutory reductions, and guideline changes are researched separately and tied to the facts and procedural history in the record.
The Assessment reviews current clemency policy and any administrative remedy history found in the file. It does not draft or file anything.
