The people we serve
Our services have long connected federal inmates with information from outside prison. We give incarcerated people and their families a clearer view of the record and the current rules that may affect release.
We are a service of Open Efforts Corporation. Our work with incarcerated people began more than a decade ago. We built this service to read one federal record carefully, check current sources, and keep that research tied to the person it concerns.
Who we are
Open Efforts incorporated in 2018, after years of providing picture services to incarcerated people. CorBot Virtual Assistant has since served more than 70,000 federal inmates over more than eight years. This service grew from that work and from requests for deeper legal research.

CorBot customers began asking for serious research on large federal records. One customer funded a dedicated autonomous research product. That work became this service.
One dedicated agent works from the case record and current sources. Research staff check citations, FSA calculations, record completeness, and the order of the findings. Unresolved material is left out.
We do not give legal advice, file anything, or represent the defendant. The report can support a pro se filer or be reviewed with counsel. The customer decides what to do with it.
The Snapshot identifies the docket, sizes the record, flags baseline FSA and SCA indicators, and gives you a fixed Assessment price. It is separate from the Assessment and is not credited toward it.
